Need an extra power supply for your Ventilator?  Bought a used Vent that didn't come with the supply?  This rugged replacement switching supply is lightweight, and fits nicely in your gear bag or in the back of a rack to give the flexibility to take your Ventilator to all your gigs and recording projects, without having to unplug and coil wires.  Or maybe you just need a spare power cord to replace the one that your drummer hit with a falling cymbal?  We sell those, too.

These supplies work with all Ventilator models:  the Ventilator, a.k.a. the 'Vent I'; the mini-VENT (organ and guitar models); the Ventilator II; and the mini-VENT II.  They also work with the GSi Burn, and any other device that needs 12VDC @ 1.2A or less with a CENTER-POSITIVE barrel plug.  (Note:  this excludes most guitar effects, unless a polarity changer cable is added.)

Note:  This power supply is not the same one that ships with the Ventilator.  However, it's of high quality, well oversized for the job, and will not cause hum or damage the Ventilator in any way.

Replacement Slider Knobs

Exact replacement knobs for ones used on Mackie, Soundcraft, and other mixers, perfect for replacing missing ones on used gear.  They are useful to swap with some of the one-color set on a mixer to make it easier to find things on stage; ex: use color to define the vocals, or the drums.  Available in black with white stripe, red with white stripe, and white with black stripe.

The knobs are available to fit two shaft styles: 1mm x 8mm (blue border, below) for Alps 100mm faders used on Mackie studio consoles and other equipment; and 1mm x 4mm (red border) for Mackie CR/CFX and Soundcraft mixers with 60mm Alps faders, as well as other brands.  These genuine knobs match your Mackie CR/SR/CFX mixers are no longer sold in the US.

It's possible to convert a 4mm knob to fit an 8mm shaft. The details are shown here.

Vintage Korg Synth Knobs

These are genuine Korg knobs from the mid-80s, and will replace broken or missing ones on the PolySix™, MonoPoly™, and Poly 800™ synths, as well as some Korg drum machines/effects.  The are press-on style, designed to fit a splined shaft.

Note:  These knobs are sold individually, not in groups of six.

We are out of the TAN knobs and do NOT expect to get any more.  The grey knobs are still available, but in limited supply.

Korg Synth Knob $3.00

IEC Power Cords

These cords have the 3-pin North American plug on one end, and an IEC C13 plug on the other.  C13/C14 plugs are used by Behringer, Digitech, EV, Mackie, Nord, QSC, TC Electronic, Vox -- most anyone who puts the power supply inside their gear.

Why do you need a shorter power cord?

  • Connecting gear inside a rack.  Cables are heavy to lug around, and they add to the clutter inside the box.
  • All that stuff sitting on a table in your studio, plugged into a power strip.

Our Short Power Cord is only three feet long (90cm).  Our Xtra-short Power Cord is one foot long (30cm).  Both are UL/CE approved, and come in Henry Ford's favorite color, black.

FC7 Foot Pedal Adapter

Our favorite volume/expression pedal has always been the Yamaha FC7, also shipped by Korg with the BX-3/CX-3 organs as the "OXP-1." The FC7 is just about the perfect volume/expression pedal: rugged, stays put, lasts for years, and has a very smooth response.  Unfortunately, the FC7 isn't directly compatible with keyboards by Roland, Kurzweil, older Clavia (Nord), Voce, and others without changing the wiring of the permanently attached cable.  This small, rugged adapter saves you from cutting off the plug and re-soldering a new one.  It also converts a Roland or Fatar pedal to a Yamaha keyboard; and it allows a sustain pedal to be used to change the speed of a Neo Instruments Ventilator II.

We stopped making this adapter almost six years ago.  There were no competitors' products during the 13 years we made them, and none have appeared since we stopped.  But I found some leftover parts in the shop, enough to make a small, final batch.

These will be the last adapters made.  There are part-replacement issues that prevent a 'painless' restart, and frankly, I'm not prepared to go through the efforts to test and re-qualify the pieces.  So, when these few adapters are gone, that's it!

We are no longer making footswitch pedals for the Ventilator.

If you want to make your own, here are the schematics.
